After the massive spike in demand, beer has taken a backseat to the big ice cream flavors.
“Vodka martinis and beer popsicle flavors have been pretty popular lately,” says Chris Kuchera, vice president of marketing for beer brand Popsicle Flavors.
“The popularity of those flavors has really grown, but it’s not necessarily a trend.
The flavors are still available for a reason.”
That’s not to say there aren’t still some beers to try: “VIPs, like Corona and the Blue Moon, are available year-round.
The Blue Moon is still one of our best-selling beers,” says Kuchela.
And you can always take your time to savor your favorites.
“If you’re really into the flavors, it’s a good idea to try a couple different brands,” says Popsicor, “so you can keep up with the trends and not get overwhelmed.”
Kuchers said that while he hasn’t seen a trend in beer sales since the rise of the craft-beer movement, he does see the trend in pop culture.
“We have to do a better job of celebrating the best of our country and celebrating the country we love,” he says.
“It’s good to see that.”
And if you’re looking for a drink to take home to your loved ones, the Popsicles, Popsie, and Popsi brands have been selling pretty well, too.
