Starbucks is offering a $2 “healthy homemade” popsicle that is “free of MSG, MSG-containing ingredients, artificial colors, preservatives, and artificial flavors.”
According to Starbucks, this is a “minimalist way to save money” and that they are working with the manufacturer to make this product as low-calorie and low-impact as possible.
The company states that the “low-calories, low-MSG-containing, low fat, low sugar popsicles are designed to be consumed with a variety of fruits and vegetables and with a moderate amount of added sugar.”
The company has also created a blog with some of the nutritional facts.
The blog also states that “these low-carb, gluten-free, low calorie, and vegan popsicles come in a variety flavors that make them a great way to get your weekly fix of a healthier, healthier taste.”
Starbucks claims that they offer a variety sizes of these healthy popsicles for both adults and children.
The products have a low-glycemic index, and they also claim that they contain a total of only 3 grams of sugar per serving.
The Starbucks spokesperson confirmed to Recode that the company has tested these products and found them to be healthy.
Starbucks’ “Healthy Homemade” Popicles is available at most Starbucks stores.
The product is available in 16 different flavors, including “Blueberry, Orange, Blueberry, Strawberry, Strawberry with Raspberry and Strawberry,” according to Starbucks.
The spokesperson also stated that “our pop-ups come in flavors that taste good in any food, but these are made with a low calorie ingredient and contain no artificial colors or preservatives.”
